Crossing the road...

Here is the procedure for crossing the road from Bilderdijklaan (where I am staying) to the old village of Rijswijk (where I shop). This is a main route out of Den Haag to Delft. For obvious reasons I snapped the photos when there was nothing coming :-O


The area to be crossed
Check - the bike lane - also used by some cars
Check - the car lane

Check - the tram lane (x2)
Check - car lane on the other side
Check - bike lane on the other side
Safe!!


Once across the road there is this gorgeous house and little park. Quite a contrast with the sterility of the road.

    I'd be terrified trying to cross all those busy lanes. We'd have to hold hands!!

    At least the chicken had something nice to see when she finally crossed the roads. You should invest in a high vis vest
